Ganz O.K., dieses Lied. Find ich mehr oder weniger interessant. Auch Nixon's Stimme hört man, am Ende. Bin nicht wirklich ein MSP-Fan, aber dieses ist ganz nett gemacht.

Es würde sicher nicht so viel von diesem Lied gesprochen, wenn nicht in ein paar Tagen US-Wahlen wären. Allerdings hat es der Song verdient, lobend erwähnt zu werden. Ein richtiger Ohrwurm!

Als ich den Song das erste mal hörte, war ich überrascht, dass James Bradfield dermassen tief singt. Ein schöner Song mit einer verträumt-melancholischen Atmosphäre.

Dito felixman! Ich bin ruhigeren und melodiösen Songs der Manics nicht abgeneigt. Ich halte Songs wie "Australia", "If you tolerate this..." oder "The Everlasting" für Juwele, aber DAS ist irgendwie.....nichts - musikalisch gesehn.

Für den Inhalt gibts immerhin noch 4*

Warum das als Leadsingle von "Lifeblood" ausgekoppelt wurde, ist mir bis heute ein Rätsel. Das Album hat viel bessere Songs zu bieten. Solide 4.

Die Strophen sind einigermaßen erträglich, aber ich finde, dass dieses Lied eher nach Seniorenheim als nach den Manic Street Preachers klingt.

war die erste Single-Auskopplung des Albums und ist ein rein synthethischer Song. Trotz des ungewöhnlichen Electro-Sounds gefällt mir der Song wegen seines Chorus und den erneut sehr gelungenen Vocals (inklusive Backing-Vocals). Definitiv kein schlechter Song.
