**** I've seen some people comparing this to early Killers, and while I don't hear that myself, perhaps there's some similarity in there which aids my enjoyment. The lyrics are painfully relatable, and the theme of mental health is a timely one to raise. The chorus is quite catchy, hitting with such a rush of energy, helped along by the drum that leads into it so effectively. The energy doesn't let up for the second verse, which sounds great, before the change-up for the bridge which slows everything right down for a more poignant moment before one final rush. |
